Take a look at our commercial hosting frequently asked questions for more information.
To set up a commercial web site, follow these steps:
Determine which HTML editor you are going to use to develop your web site. Netscape provides templates to help Navigator Gold and Composer users build a web site. For more information on HTML, see the Web Design Group's web site.
Develop the web site. See basic commercial web information and examples for background information, then CGI, Perl, Java, and counters for scripting information.
Optionally, add mail forms. See mail forms for more information.
Copy and save templates or other files to your local computer, where you will create the web site.
After you finish building your web site, upload your web site files to www.your_domain.com, such as www.24HourSupport.com. You can use any standard File Transfer Protocol (FTP) program such as WSFTP to upload your files to the web server. If you are using Microsoft FrontPage, you can upload using its Publish feature, but you first must ensure that FrontPage Extensions are enabled for your web site.
