E-Mail Configuration: This document describes how to configure Mail for Mac OS X.

1. Open Mail
2. Click Mail in the upper left hand corner of the screen
3. Click "Preferences..."
4. Click "Add account"
5. For account type, choose POP
6. For description type "HGE.net Mail"
7. Type Your email address
8. Type your full name
9. The incoming mail server is pop3.hge.net
10. Your user name is your hge.net email address
11. Type your password
12. Under the "Outoing mail server" dropdown, click "options"
13. Type smtp.hge.net for the outgoing mail server
14. Type "25" for the server port
15. Choose "none" for authentication type
16. Click OK
17. Click the advanced tab
18. Type 110 for the incoming server port
19. Choose password for the authentication type.
20. Click OK
21. Close the accounts window.
