HGE.net is the Telecommunications Division of the Holyoke Gas & Electric Department (HG&E) that was established in 1902. For over 100 years, HG&E has met its commitment to providing low cost, reliable energy and excellent customer service to its ratepayers, who are also the owners of the Department. Now, HG&E has diversified into telecommunications recognizing that these services have become essential; much like electricity and gas became essential some 100 years ago. In integrating these new core services, we have not forgotten our commitment to low cost, reliable services and excellent customer service, nor have we forgotten that we are owned and operated by those we serve (you, our customers)!
